xbriar-rose:

Bright crimson orbs, scarlet jewels that pierced her by just a look.  It was impossible that an encounter with that child could happen on the past, but on the deepest part of herself a strong emotion pushed the princess to felt this vague familiarity at a glance to the young girl’s portrait.

Realizing a while later how the prince was holding her , he caught again her attention in an instant … maybe he knew something. Didn’t he said before he had visited the house on the past?  However, his words immediately destroyed any hope of clarifying her doubts. Uncertainness filled up any thought she could had, however her affliction would be a nuisance to him; she was safe with him…so being scared was the most dull thing to be by the moment.

Anyhow, she was speechless that she could barely unlatched her lips letting her paused breathing come out, clinging onto her beloved as if she was claiming any protection.

Her absolutely agreement by the idea of leaving the place was enough to calm her agitated self by an ephemeral moment, but just for a moment that immediately an literally die. It was rapid enough to understand how both they were trapped on the room, noticing the door disappearance. That only meant bad news.

” … Dear..” She muttered nervously. What an embarrassing situation she was putting the prince trough by just  being , didn’t she trusted him enough? Then she shouldn’t be nearest to shed any tear. ” We…we need to go.  ” And saying the obvious wasn’t much help either…

He merely nodded at her words, unable to elicit sounds from his vocals for once in his life. Even if his voice did happen to agree with him, he still would have no words to speak. The room’s mysterious aura is thickening by the second, slowly consuming the two. His princess was getting more and more troubled, and even he was starting to be shaken to the bone. But with their only exit gone, how could they escape?

The prince took a deep breath and moved forward. “Briar Rose, my beloved, please stay behind me…” his voice was low and in a whisper, a small tremble distorting some words. “I see…so our meeting in the strange world earlier wasn’t a mere trivial matter.”

Carefully maneuvering around the house, the prince tried to find any signs of the cute, small house of his Schneewittchen. A house cannot just disappear so suddenly, especially from the inside. Ah, where was that maggot, what was his name? Marchen? Was this possibly another revenge tragedy he’s been involved in? How dare that maggot, not only to involve him but also his Briar Rose! Well no matter, the prince was determined to protect his princess no matter what. He shall not give into his id no matter what. He will not lose the Elyse of his life. No matter what.

His eyes lit up as a brand new sensation filled him. It was similar to the same impulse that led him to the door that eventually trapped them. He was unsure if he could even trust it, but perhaps it could at least lead them to another door. “Darling…do you feel that?” He looked towards the rose, hoping to find reassurance and confidence in her eyes.
